$180 Million Has Been Awarded to Six States for Comprehensive Literacy Programs Under the Striving Readers Comprehensive Literacy Program. 

The aim of the Striving Readers Comprehensive Literacy grant is to advance literacy skills, reading, and writing for students from early childhood through grade 12. Each state will award sub-grants to local education agencies (LEAs) to develop and implement a comprehensive approach to improving literacy achievement of all students, including English language learners and special needs students.

Peoples Education and Brightpoint Literacy are pleased to support educators who are developing rigorous models of effective assessment and instruction with research-based resources that work together to provide comprehensive instruction for all students. These resources complement core instructional programs to provide a rigorous curriculum and clear articulation across grade levels.
