Peoples Education has taken our unique, state-customized approach for building our print-based supplemental education materials and applied it to technology to create a set of highly useful online products aligned to state standards and assessments. Measuring Up e-Path® marked our entrance into the world of technology and laid the foundation for our recently released ePath Knowledge™ suite of products: ePath Assess™, Practice Path™, and ePath Discovery™.

In addition to the Classic Reports that were available in Measuring Up e-Path®, the ePath Knowledge™ suite features three unique programs:

ePath Assess™

Peoples Education offers an answer to the "what's next" question with ePath Discovery™ - a new online supplemental remediation system. ePath Discovery™ takes data from your existing formative assessment system or from our own ePath Assess solution and directs students to remedial instruction based on their individual needs - specifically created and aligned to state standards and assessments
    ePath Discovery™ delivers:
  • Concise, standards - based lessons in two specific states:
    • California - Reading, mathematics for grades 6 - 8, CAHSEE early/exit and science for grades 5 and 8
    • Texas - Mathematics and science for grades 6 - 8
  • Concise, TEKS - based lessons in mathematics and science for grades 5 - 8
  • Online, interactive instruction with real time feedback
  • Focused remediation based on placement assessment results, manual teacher assignments, or other formative assessment results

  • Automated "mapping" based on student performance - the system automatically adjusts the content based on how the student has done on the previous lesson

Engage students with a powerful, self - guided skill building system providing ongoing practice using games and motivational tools to promote success.

Teachers everywhere extol the virtues of reinforcing underlying skills through practice to enhance learning and achievement.

To help students build essential skills they need to succeed - Peoples Education created Practice Path™ - one of our new online learning tools in ePath Knowledge series.

Practice Path™ delivers ongoing practice and skill building content delivered online via a student - based user experience. Once students are entered into the system, it's ready to go - teachers do not have to create assignments or assessments. Students move through an intuitive strand/skills based interface that provides both navigation and progress reporting in a single view! The strands and skills were created from specific state standards offering short "testlets' in traditional or game modes.
    Practice Path™ features:
  • Content in reading and mathematics for grades 3-8
  • Intuitive, easy - to - use student driven "path" interface allowing users to walk through strands and skills.
  • Elegant, easy - to - use reports to track progress for students and educators
  • High quality content customized specifically for each state
  • Automated "leveling" based on student performance - the system automatically adjusts the grade level and difficulty of content based on performance
  • Ability to test in traditional or game modes
  • No test creation or assignment set up - once students are entered in the system they can log in and begin to move down their path!
  • Teacher optional pre and post assessments to determine initial areas of weakness and to measure overall effectiveness
