Measuring Up MyQuest™ provides intervention support for struggling high school students in California. An urban district implemented Measuring Up® instruction and Measuring Up Insight™ progress monitoring together to see a huge jump in test scores. A district in Program Improvement status used Measuring Up Insight™ and Measuring Up MyQuest™ to improve high stakes test scores. A school with 55% of students receiving free and reduced lunch used Measuring Up MyQuest™ to motivate students in summer school. A snapshot of how the Measuring Up Program helped Donaldson Way Elementary increase their Academic Performance Index (API), the school rating indicator in CA.
After just one year of using Measuring Up Insight™, students' TAKS scores increased by 50 points, and the number of students meeting state standards increased by 20%. .
After two years of using the Measuring Up program, Sweetwater High is now one of only two high schools in the state to exit Program Improvement in 2008. Their API has also sky-rocketed over 60 points, from 642 in 2005, to 706 in 2008, and the school is showing the fifth largest increase in the state for schools similar to their demographics..

Measuring Up Customers Increased Test Scores and Academic Performance Rankings See how several schools in Los Angeles have increased their California Standards Test (CST) and California High School Exit Exam (CAHSEE) scores, and raised their Academic Performance Index (API), California's school ranking indicator based on state test results and growth across all content areas. By adopting Measuring Up worktexts at the district level, ECCSD equaled the playing field and provided all students with the same opportunities. This curricular consistency may have contributed to increased test scores.
For the students and teachers in Mt. Vernon, Measuring Up was generally more effective than the other products in use for helping to improve student achievement. We can conclude that Measuring Up is a valuable option for supplementing English Language Arts instruction where the goal is higher achievement on the New York State test.
