We really like the Measuring Up materials. Our initial TAKS scores show 95% in Reading and 94% in Math. We also were 96% in Science and 97% in Writing. We believe the measuring materials were a major factor in our good reading and math scores.

The fastest-moving states will begin to implement the Common Core in the classroom in 2011-12.
Common assessments will tentatively be field tested in 2013-14 and fully operational in 2014-15.
