Granting a wish for one courageous child has yielded the opportunity to educate others. Lauren E. Richmond, a fourteen-year-old from Bridgewater, N.J., is battling cancer. Her dream is to share her poetry with the world. Now her dream has come true.
Lauren hopes her passion for poetry will educate and inspire the world. She believes that although our individual experiences in life may differ, we are all connected by our shared, universal feelings. Lauren attends high school in Bridgewater, N.J., where she lives with her parents, Dean and Laurie, and her older sister Dana.
Peoples Education, in support of the Marty Lyons Foundation (an organization that grants the wishes of sick children), is honored to be able to assist in fulfilling Lauren's wonderful wish. You can help advance Lauren's dream by purchasing a copy of Lauren's enriching book of poetry, "Black and Brown Markers."
